Join Friends of the Cabildo as the Louisiana State Museum's impressive collection of menus, cookbooks and restaurant artifacts are examined for an exclusive behind-the-scenes viewing September 2nd and 4th. Sarah-Elizabeth Gundlach, Curator of Maps and Manuscripts, and Greg Lambousy, Director of Collections for the Louisiana State Museum, will guide guests through the collection from restaurants such as Galatoire's, Antoine's and Commanders Palace. The tours will take place at the Old U.S. Mint at 400 Esplanade Avenue.

Hidden Treasures of the Louisiana State Museum: Restaurants Edition takes place Tuesday and Thursday, September 2nd and 4th. Tours are at 6:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. nightly at the Old U.S. Mint, located at 400 Esplanade Avenue. Cost is $20.00 per person, or $15.00 for Friends of the Cabildo/Louisiana Museum Foundation members. Reservations are required, and space is extremely limited.
